Essential Guide to the Western Political Language (Truths vs Myths)

To become an expert in understanding and sharing relevant knowledge in topics of our global political-economic reality, is far from being a trivial task, yet it remains our primary survival-tool.

This post offers a high-level summary of the research-findings presented on this blog and a quick guide for those who find it difficult to navigate through the misleading political and media-labyrinths, nevertheless are willing to face the challenge, realising that a position of political passivity and oblivion is no longer an option.

Some of the most famous quotes to underline above:

  • “The most important political office is that of the private citizen.” ~ Louis D. Brandeis
“The price of apathy towards public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.”
    ~ Plato
“Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you. ” ~ Pericles
Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
  • In our age there is no such thing as ‘keeping out of politics.’ All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.” ~ George Orwell
Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.” ~ George Orwell

The “Essential Guide to the Western Political Language” – attached in 3 .jpg pages – provides a brief actual definition of some of the most common, nevertheless misused political terms/phrases. The definitions here refer to the overwhelming tendency in the mainstream misrepresentations of political-economic topics, without mentioning the occasional exceptions to the rule.  The goal here is to outline the brakes built into the global ‘rigged game’, which keep hindering exceptional bona fide politicians – eg. Jeremy Corbyn (UK/Labour) – in achieving their intended po-democracy objectives.

The Essential Guide was written in the hopes that once the majority come to understand the essence of this global system and the way how we are manipulated by the political and media-elites via misused, reversed, distorted, pre-emptied concepts becomes common knowledge, it might improve our chance to find effective ways to implement a new, human, social democratic system in place of the current inhuman, anti-social and anti-democratic  establishment.
